Geelong Regional Library Corporation are looking for a Coordinator, Community Development, who lives the values above and can support us to develop and implement initiatives to build frontline workforce capacity to understand and respond to the needs of our diverse communities. They will also support the teams through targetted capability building, provision of debriefing and support and appropriate training to deliver on strategic goals and objectives outlined within the Library Plan.
As the successful candidate, you will have significant experience building relationships, networks and collaborations within the community, and experience in community development or a community services organisation, with specialist knowledge in either homelessness, mental health and/or drug and alcohol responses.
An engaging communicator, you will help us embed an understanding of community development principles of empowerment, inclusion and diversity and collaboration and participation.
